Frequently Asked Questions

A few helpful answers as you plan your ceremony.

Do you officiate for all couples?

Yes. Couples of all faiths, backgrounds and traditions are welcome. I can work with religious, nonreligious, traditional and nontraditional ceremonies.

Do we need a marriage license?

Yes. Couples are responsible for obtaining a valid Tennessee marriage license from the appropriate county clerk before the ceremony. Check with the county clerk for current identification, fee, waiting-period and license-validity requirements.

Do we need witnesses?

Witness preferences and paperwork can vary by circumstance. Check with the issuing county clerk about the current requirements for your license, and let me know if you plan to have family or friends participate.

Can you help us with our vows?

Absolutely. We can talk through the ceremony structure and ways to make the words feel natural. You can write personal vows, use traditional wording, or keep things simple.

How far do you travel?

I serve Spring Hill, Thompson's Station, Franklin, Columbia, Brentwood and nearby Middle Tennessee communities. Ask about locations farther away; travel may affect the quote.

How do we reserve a date?

Send an inquiry through the booking page with your date and location. I'll respond to discuss availability, details and pricing. Your date is not reserved until we've confirmed the arrangements.
